  • CRC Workshop - Anti-counterfeiting your product for hive to table delivery (ticketed)

    • Do you know all the latest technologies to protect your product until it reaches your consumer, and how different cultures react to label cues? Our full-day workshop on the 28th June is led by Dr Caroline Francis (RMIT) - who has made this area a focus of her research - there will also be talks by companies at the technology front line and alignment to marketing the honey bee industry.

  • CRC Workshop -  B-QUAL Australia: Honey beekeeping industry standards and their auditing (ticketed).

    • How do you know if your honey is 100% Australian and pure? We'll cover this topic in an exciting full-day workshop on the 29th of June. This includes a demonstration of the Melliferous flora database, the digitisation of B-QUAL and the Honey Assurance system.

  • South-west tour / ‘Jarrah - WA’s iconic Honey This tour will take you from Perth (The University Club) to visit a local honey packer facility, getting up close with WAs Jarrah forest and experience a facility tour at our renowned Chemistry Research Centre. Guided full day tour including tea breaks and lunch, (excl. beverages) - $110 p/p (no early birds). Details will be published on the website as they become available.
     

  • The folklore of Marri’ Leaving Perth (The University Club), this tour will take you to a pollen packer and see why Western Australia is famous for its pollen production. You will visit one of the largest commercial beekeeper in WA and drive through the picturesque Marri Forest in Perth Hills. Guided full day tour including tea breaks and lunch, (excl. beverages) - $110 p/p (no early birds). Details will be published on the website as they become available.
